The advent of the Android pad, shortened to Apad, by Superpad sparked a generation of cost effective Apple alternatives. This latest upgrade makes the top 10 tablet PC website by virtue of its cost effectiveness, costing about half that of Windows Tablet Computers.
The main teething problems with these first offerings were the lack of genuine multi touch ability making them, basically, glorified mobile phones.
The 2.2 Froyo Superpad 2 Apad comes with Flytouch 3 which allows for more movement with more natural finger movements, rather than the awkward zoom in and zoom out of the older model. Apart from this and the extra Card Reader, no significant difference in upgrade from Flytouch 2 and Flytouch .

Shipped with the ARM11 1GHz processor, unlinke your usual Intel chips in the Motorola Xoom or Asus EEE.
The Memory may only be 512 MB, but remember Android allocates memory in a different way to Windows, so you cant really compare like for like in this way. Even Windows XP and Windows 7 treat memory in different ways with the latter more efficient with lesser amounts.
512MB RAM is sufficiently fast to play flash games and watch HD videos backed up by the powerful processor.
The 4GB storage memory drawback however applies equally accross the tablet slate market, especially as you are only left with 3GB (1GB is used for the Android), but you can always upgrade to 32GB with a TransFlash card.
You have to get used to Android, if you are used to working in a Windows environment, but the interface is straightforward enough to pick up.
There is an optional GPS antenna which allows for fully mobile surfing and all the wifi, network and connectivity ports including HDMI output to larger screen are available.
Given its price, the specifications are fully loaded and except for the slightly worse screen quality you would not really be able to tell these apart from some of the more expensive tablets in top 10 tablet pc.
